Greenways Summer Garden Party

We had a fantastic afternoon at our Summer Garden Party, with residents, families and friends coming together to enjoy a wonderful day of celebrations. 

Thankfully, the sunshine joined us too, allowing everyone to make the most of our lovely outdoor space. Guests enjoyed a delicious barbecue while listening to wonderful live entertainment from Lisa Jean Miet, who helped create a warm and cheerful atmosphere throughout the afternoon. There were plenty of smiles, laughter and happy conversations as everyone relaxed and enjoyed the festivities.

A big thank you goes to the parents and children from Greenacres Nursery, as well as the service users from Birdston Day Centre, who came along to join us. It was lovely to welcome everyone to Greenways and see so many familiar and new faces enjoying the afternoon together.

Socialising plays an important role in supporting happiness and wellbeing, particularly for our residents at Greenways Care Home. Spending time with others provides opportunities to build friendships, share experiences and enjoy meaningful conversations. 

Events like these are a wonderful opportunity to bring our community together and create special memories. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who attended and helped make our Summer Garden Party such a success. We look forward to more happy occasions and celebrations at Greenways in the future!
